1.Who we are
Terna Travel (ternatravel.com) is an AI-powered trip-planning platform, operated from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by the team behind it. This policy is designed to comply with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and its implementing regulations.

2.Data we collect
- Account data
- Email, optional name; passwords are stored hashed by our authentication provider.
- Traveler profile
- Family composition, pace, budget band, interests — what you enter to personalize your plans.
- Trip data
- Destinations, dates, and preferences you enter when creating a plan; the generated plans; refinement conversations.
- Package and service requests
- When you request a package or service, we record the request and the price shown at the time.
- Technical data
- Basic server logs (IP address, browser type, request time) for security and operations.
We do not collect your live location and do not request sensitive data.
3.How we use your data
- To generate and personalize trip plans — the platform's core purpose.
- To improve your future plans from the preferences saved in your traveler profile.
- To process package and service requests and follow up with you about them.
- To operate and secure the platform and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for third-party advertising.
4.Artificial intelligence
Your inputs (trip preferences and conversations) are processed by AI models to generate and narrate plans. Venues, prices, and routes come from our curated database — the AI does not invent places, prices, or halal classifications.
5.Who processes your data
We use technical providers that process data on our behalf under processing agreements:

Data may be processed by these providers outside the Kingdom in accordance with the PDPL's transfer provisions.
6.Retention and your rights
We keep your data while your account exists. Under the PDPL you may request access, correction, or deletion, or withdraw consent — via admin@ternatravel.com, and we respond within the statutory periods. Deleting your account deletes your traveler profile and your trips.
7.Cookies and analytics
We use only the cookies necessary for sign-in and platform operation. No advertising trackers.
To measure how the platform is used, we store an anonymous identifier in your browser's local storage — not in a cookie. Analytics events carry no email, no name, and no personal data, and we create no identity profile with the analytics provider. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, the analytics tool is not loaded at all.
8.Changes
We may update this policy; updates are posted on this page with their date. Continued use after an update constitutes notice.
